Funny Movies are Therapy for the Miserable |

I’m a firm believer in the importance of laughter. I believe that finding an excuse to laugh heartily on a daily basis is vital to happiness and good health. I’m a cheerful person and I generally laugh a great deal. On those rare occasions when I do feel depressed I purposely find something to laugh at in the effort to chase away the sadness. For example, if I feel sad or stressed I watch funny movies. You can rent comedy movies from your local video rental store. You can also watch trailers for comedies online. If you wish you can actually watch comedy movies online legally at various online sites. I recommend watching comedy movies to anybody who hasn’t laughed for a while. Comedies are therapy for the miserable. The other night my husband was down in the mouth so I made him watch a comedy called Bowfinger. My husband almost peed himself laughing watching one of Eddie Murhpy’s characters attempting to cross the freeway. I got a kick out of Steve Martin’s character tying his female dog’s legs together in a bid to hide her privates from his date. Like many other funny movies, Bowfinger really cheered us up.
